My sister went out to her car this morning….but didn’t go to far. When she got out to the car, she noticed there were several….ahem…”couples” of ladybugs mating on it. We’re not just talking one or two ladybugs– there were probably over 20….and I’m guessing in a few weeks, there’s going to be even more ladybugs flying around (if you get what I mean
)
Look at that little sliver of focus– this was shot at f/10!
Not only were they mating…they were on the run! You could barely follow one couple with the camera– one was literally dragging the other on it’s back at warp speed. It was really the funniest sight I’ve seen in a long time.

I love your title! LOL! It is hard to shoot bugs on the run. Your focus and the sharpness are great.

oh my! ~ I still have a difficult time with my f/stop when taking marcos. Such a small area of focus, you did a great job. Did you change it on the 2nd and 3rd shot??

Nope– it was f/10 the entire time (well after my first few shots had a pinhead’s area worth of focus and I changed the f stop!)

That is hysterical! Really clear – maybe too clear – they must be embarrassed! Very cute.
