-A little backstory behind today’s picture-
This morning, we left for church fairly early. On our way out there, we were amazed at how dense the fog was (and my photgrapher mind was in overdrive thinking of where I could go to take a cool picture…) On our way home, we passed by Double Trouble State park, and through the trees, I could see that because of all the bogs there, there was still a thick layer of fog.
As soon as we got home, I grabbed my camera bag and headed back out. As soon as I got to Double Trouble, I picked what lens I wanted, and set out (through the foot of slush that’s still on the ground- I was glad I wore snow boots!). I was about 50 yards from my car when the sky opened up and it started to pour.
Soooo….I headed home. As soon as I pulled into the driveway, the rain finally let up. (of course). I went inside anyway, checked the weather channel, waited out the drizzle for a few minutes, and decided the fog was too good of an opportunity to pass up, so I went back.
I guess that was it for the rain, because no sooner had I hiked back to the bogs, not only did the fog let up, the skies cleared and a bright sun came out.

So while I was hoping for a great spooky foggy picture, I did manage to take some pretty berry pictures, captured a few dew drops, and just enjoyed hiking around the paths of the park (bonus- it was quite the workout!)

I took many (many, many!) pictures of berries, but I think this one is my favorite because you can see all the little dew drops on them.
