“Look! My nails look like little flying Nuns!” ~ Jenna
Nothing too interesting to photograph today (10 days in and I’ve
hit a roadblock….this can’t be happening!). My sister was sitting
at the table today, doing her nails with some french manicure kit
she just got and proclaimed that her tips looked like little flying
nuns. It really did—so that’s what you are getting as my photo of
the day….

You can’t hit a “road block”, I’m off on Wednesday. With the forecast of snow, if I can get out of my driveway, where should we go??!! I bet Popcorn Park would be interesting in the snow.

It’s time you get out of my head. Again. Lol. I was thinking Popcorn Park Zoo for an upcoming trip. The other day I stopped into the County Connection in the mall, and picked up a bunch of pamphlets on Ocean County in hopes of finding something or someplace for us to do that we might not have thought of, and Popcorn Park was one of them. I don’t think I’ve been there since I was like 5.
Is there anything interesting in that place behind your house, or has it all been knocked down? That could be an option as well.

Popcorn Park should be interesting in the snow, 1 ~ if it’s open and 2 ~ if the lions, tigers and bears are out. I, also thought of Cattus Island. They have the butterfly garden in the Spring but I am sure we could find lots of stuff there now. Let’s see what this new storm brings. BTW Berkeley Island was closed the other day. Guess they didn’t want anyone falling on the snow and ending up in the bay!

None of those pictures the other day were from Berkeley? Could have fooled me! Maybe they had closed early because of the snow- I wonder if they’ll be open on Wednesday.
Cattus Island was also on my list (I’ve never been, but I’ve heard great things), and you had mentioned going out somewhere in Bamber– the lakes might look pretty in the snow, plus there were a few more places in the “101 Things to do in Ocean County” pamphlet that I checked off. There’s no shortage! I just hope we’re not snowed in. I want just enough to make the trees look pretty.
