I was out in my back yard taking pictures when I came across this little guy at the tippy top of the tree. He was chirping up a storm (the sun was setting- I think he was yelling at it for not warming us up better during the day). Because of the setting sun, his red feathers really stood out against the blue sky.

    Lucky you to get a shot of such a beautiful cardinal! I’ve been trying with no luck!! They must hear me coming from a mile away with my camera and always fly away just as I’m about to get them in focus!! Nicely done with the texture too! : )
