4.6.11 ~ 96/365

06 Apr

Months ago, when Phriend and I started going out on our weekly trips, she had mentioned that she wanted to see the Paterson Waterfalls. I had heard of Niagra falls, but had never heard of any waterfalls in NJ. I’ve since come to learn that they are the second largest waterfalls in the US, east of the Mississippi. Unfortunately, the area that they are in isn’t the best area of the state, at least someplace we weren’t willing to venture to alone. We convinced Mr. Phriend and another friend of mine to take the trip up with us so that we’d have a “lookout” or two while we went picture happy on these beautiful waterfalls!

Linking up to “Watchful Wednesday” W is for Waterfalls!

And it was chosen as a top three photo for the week!

Oh my…they are magnificent! I like the red rock. Reminds me of Utah. Not the FAlls,…. the rock.

I can’t believe how awesome all the photos came out. Not that we’re not getting better at this, just the compostion of each photo. It looks like one could take a family vacation there. Glad we were able to see them and I do think we might want to try and go when all the trees and flowers bloom. I’ll have to ask “Mr. Phriend” if he wants to go again. You are too funny 🙂

Gorgeous! It’s a wonder they aren’t more of a tourist attraction.
