6.6.11 ~ 157/365

Its been a few months since I first “discovered” the joy of Photoshop actions, but other than using a portrait action, I haven’t really reaped the full benefits of actions….until today. I took this picture of a thistle, and while I did like the picture un-edited, in my minds eye, I saw a dreamy vintage looking picture, with warm hues and maybe some vignetting. When I couldn’t recreate what I was thinking in Photoshop on my own, I turned to actions. I downloaded a bunch from the Coffee Shop Blog, and I ended up using three different ones on this picture. Still not what I was thinking, but I like the end result anyway.

    I love this pic. I want to try to capture sun flare in one of my photos. Maybe it will disguise my inability to nail focus lol.
