6.22.11 ~ 173/365

23 Jun

When you live in the “Garden State”, you can’t just go to the store to buy your produce– what would the fun be in that?
Yesterday, my family and I went blueberry picking at an organic blueberry farm. Blueberries are my mom’s favorite fruit, and she even freezes pints of them so she can continue to enjoy them in the winter. We picked about 5 pounds of blueberries yesterday…actually, I should say, my family picked about 5 pounds… I picked about 5. Naturally, I turned the day into a photoshoot with my sister who seemed to be dressed perfectly for the occasion! (I say that sarcastically…but she was dressed perfectly for a photo shoot!)

I learned that I am completly obsessed with actions! I took these pictures with the sole purpose in mind that I was going to use a particular action I had just downloaded. This especially comes to mind with my first shot above- I wanted a nice hazy summery shot, so I used Coffee Shop Blog’s “Sunkissed” action to give it a bit more sunflare. I’m hooked on actions– is it just me or are they addictive? 😛

I love these! Yes, she is perfectly dressed for a photo shoot and you’re both gorgeous!
I love the Sunkissed action, I sometimes turn off the sun flare and just use the haze and colour. It gives a beautiful light.

These are fabulous!! They tell such a great story of your time together! I picked blueberries once and it’s hard work!! Love all the shots! The first one is great with the soft haze! I love that the hands make a heart while holding the blueberries!! Actions are definitely a lot of fun! Way to use them to help capture your vision!!!
