Cape May, NJ

03 Jan

I know I said I wasn’t continuing a 365….but I can’t stay away. I feel so weird not posting a picture!
So here goes…365 +1 (it’s a leap year!) part 2. Day 2.
Here’s some photos from our trip to Cape May, NJ for New Year’s Eve.
Cape May is the southern most tip in NJ, and is known for having the largest collection of victorian houses anywhere in the USA.

Because Cape May is actually an island on the southern tip of NJ, you can watch both the sunrise and the sunset from a beach. We went to one beach called Sunset beach to watch the final sunset of 2011.

After the sunset, we took a carriage ride through the streets of Cape May to see all of the Christmas decorations:

Happy 2012!

Great shots, I like the dune grass and water tower ones.
