Macro Monday ~ Non-pareils

16 Jan

Day 16

You never really fully understand a difference in aperture until you actually see it in action. I was playing around with my camera and my 60mm f/2 macro lens today and took these two shots– the first one being at the highest aperture (f/45) and the second at the lowest (in this case, it was at f/3, I was focusing very close). What a difference!

Fantastic colors and selective focus in these macros!

This is a great lesson for us all… what a huge difference, especially noticeable on macro shots.
