Be Different

27 Jan

Day 26

I had to stay late at school today for parent-teacher conferences, so I was searching my classroom for something to photograph, when I spotted the #1 recess toy in my class- Lego’s. I grabbed the box, decapitated a bunch of the Lego fig’s and lined them up. I’m a firm believer in going against the flow, so the little upside down Lego guy is me :).
On a side note- I actually sat and figured out how to use the Kelvin scale for custom white balance on this. It’s a bit time consuming (but basically that’s because I don’t really know how to use it), but wow- what a difference- this is SOOC- it definitely saves me time in the end! (And for those who want to try it- here’s a little trick- if your camera has it, put it on live view, and then adjust the Kelvin WB so you can see right on the screen what it’s going to look like. I can see this being a huge time saver!
