Ocean City, NJ

23 Aug

A little while back, I bought myself a ND (neutral density) filter to play around with taking long exposures of water or other moving objects.  Phriend recently got one as well, and in the process of playing with her ND filter found an awesome abandoned fishing pier.  Immediately, we made plans to revisit the pier with our cameras, ND filters and tripods– and last night was the night– the low tide lined up perfectly with sunset!  We dragged along another phriend, and the three of us lined up at the waters edge taking pictures from 30 seconds to 2 minutes long.  Here’s one of my favorites from the night.

Your shot is so clear. The light was hitting the posts in just the right spots to give such nice highlights.
