The past few days worth of pictures have been from my cell phone because I’m away (I can’t call it vacation when you’re not relaxing!) helping my sister move. She is leaving her job at NASA, so today, before we came back home, she took us on a tour of her base. We got to go into a building that had an observatory window looking into the largest “clean room” in the country. The clean room allows the employees to work on space shuttles and the like in a completely sterile environment. Right now they are working on building the predecessor to the Hubble space telescope- the James Webb Space Telescope- we got to see some of the parts being assembled right before us.
