Taxi Please!
Phriend 1 and Phriend 2 (haha…sounds like Dr. Seuss’s “Thing 1 and Thing 2”) and I went into the city to take some pictures….and take some pictures we did! Between the 3 of us, I think we shot over 2,000 photos!
I can’t just share them one day, so I’m going to spread them out over the next few days.
First up– I played around with panning and the NYC Taxi cabs– this was hand held at around 1/8th of a second!
December Photo Challenge
Its that time of year again- the last month in the 365 picture a day when you’re running out if inspiration, and you’re pretty sure the world doesn’t want to see another picture of your cat, or what you cooked, or in my case, what I’m selling on Etsy. So when I saw this prompt a day for December from “I Heart Faces”, I decided I’m going to use it for inspiration. I probably won’t do it every day, but it provides a good jumping board for inspiration on some pictures I can take.
Day 1 is “introduce yourself”. I don’t know what picture fits me better- the first one of me goofing off in Pier 1 today; or the second- me goofing off as we picked out our Christmas tree. Either way- it shows that I’m a goofball!

Cinnamon Pretzels
Today I did a little recipe experimenting and came up with these little addictive babies– White Chocolate Cinnamon Pretzels.

I spent my day off today catching up on Etsy orders– I must say- I love working at home from my spot in front of the fire!
I thought the embers looked cool here just before I added some more wood.

What do you do when your home alone and you spot a big freakin bug? Find the largest honkin vase you can and trap that sucker!
