Today I ran my first 5K! It was one of my New Year’s resolutions to be able to finish a 5K this year, and while I did technically finish, I didn’t finish the way I wanted (my goal was to finish without walking, and with the insane humidity today, I did stop a few times to walk.) My final time was 38.00 (the finish line timer doesn’t take into account how long it takes to cross the start line), so considering the heat, I was pretty proud of myself!

Congratulations!! you should be proud of yourself for sticking with it, Heck you did better than me, I haven’t even crossed the starting line, ever mind the finish line!!
