This may be the latest in the day I have ever posted a picture!
It’s Superbowl Sunday— and there is much celebrating going on in my house as my dad is a lifelong Steelers fan, and through the years, so is my sister.
I had high hopes of getting a picture of them, standing in front of the tv, wearing their jerseys, waving their terrible towels (it’s some Steelers thing….they wave this yellow towel in the air). But, lo and behold they are being duds and refusing to pose for me, afraid that they may miss a moment of their precious game.
So I waited all day to write for nothing. To get back at them, I put my cheesehead on along with my Steelers jersey…
That’s ok- I had much more fun last night and would rather share a picture of that instead ::insert me, sticking my tounge out at them, here::
Yesterday was yet another one of those dreary, grey days we seem to be having more and more of around here. It pretty much drizzled all day, and I pretty much spent the entire day in sweatpants crashed on the couch watching tv shows from the 60’s.
….until Trish called that is! I swear- she could talk me into pretty much anything. A few minutes later, we were in the car heading over the bridge to Seaside! (Yes…that Seaside…home of the ‘world famous’ Jersey Shore crew…). We didn’t really have anything in mind- we were just hoping to find *something* interesting to photograph… and boy did we ever! The fog was thicker than pea soup, and the ‘abandoned for the winter’ amusement rides looked creepier then ever!
Instead of fully cheating and posting 5 pictures (and because I honestly couldn’t pick just one to be the “real” picture) I made a collage in Picasa.
Linking up to Project 64- Their color this week is grey!

It was great fun. Now next time we have a Nor’Easter we need to head over there to get some awesome wave shots.
Thanks for going with me on all the adventures, as I know I most likely would not have been out on many of these outings if I didn’t have my Phriend with me.
